Is Linux Ready For Mainstream Gaming In 2025?
Linux is quietly gaining ground on Windows in the gaming space. But how well does it actually perform? Here's what I experienced.
This app lets you easily add watermarks to any image of your choice.
If you post your work on the internet or share it with other people, you are most likely familiar with the notion of adding watermarks to your photos, videos, and documents to ensure their authenticity and to deter unauthorized copying.
This is something that has been carried over through many years of protecting one's creative efforts/intellectual property, and has become a lot more important in today's AI-crazed world.
In this article, we will be checking out Easy Watermark, an open source app for Android that makes watermarking images easy.
Easy Watermark's image editing interface.
Written in Kotlin, Easy Watermark is the brainchild of rosu, an experienced Android developer, who, along with other open source contributors, has created a user-friendly, no-nonsense app for watermarking images.
As you can see above, adding a watermark to an image is just a matter of a few taps. After granting permission for all files, Easy Watermark can access any stored images for you to edit.
Easy Watermark's editing tools.
The default watermarking mode is text, which allows you to add a watermark consisting of both text and emoji. You can further edit the watermark by going into the βStyleβ and βLayoutβ menus, which have a range of tools.
There are many fonts, sizes, colors, and angles to choose from, and a single tile mode that disables watermark duplication. You can also add a custom logo to the watermark instead of text by using the 'Icon' option from the Content menu.
The F-Droid listing for Easy Watermark is the most straightforward way to get the app. But, if you want to support the developer, then you can get the paid app from the Play Store.
If you would like to check out the source code or contribute to it, you can check out its GitHub repo.
