Netrunner is a Debian-based Linux distro for PCs/ARM-based computers that has been around since 2010 and has been getting a steady flow of updates.
In a recent announcement, they released Netrunner 23 “Vaporwave” with a few improvements.

Netrunner 23 offers three major changes and a few application updates.
The most visible change of those is the new 'Vaporwave' style wallpaper that signifies the code name of this release.
Other than that, these are the following notable changes:
Debian 11 'Bullseye'
The Debian core of Netrunner has been upgraded to Debian 11 'Bullseye', which features Linux Kernel 5.10.19, a long-term support version that ends in December 2026.
This should also bring in support for the exFAT file system and enhanced support for Intel and ARM chips.

KDE Plasma 5.20.5
The previous iteration of Netrunner had an old release of KDE Plasma. But now it ships with KDE Plasma 5.20.5.
Though this is not the latest and greatest release of Plasma, it does provide a bunch of new features and bug fixes.
The Netrunner team has also done various customizations to Plasma that gives the distro a unique look and feel.

Open the terminal and type or paste the following command to get the update package:
sudo apt upgrade
Then type or paste the following command into the terminal to update Netrunner:
sudo apt full-upgrade
