Good News! Google Starts Rolling Out Native Linux Terminal to Android Devices
It looks like Google is rolling out its native Linux terminal app for select Android devices.
ONLYOFFICE Docs 8.3 debuts with Apple iWork and Hancom Office file support, along with upgrades for Spreadsheets, Presentations, and the PDF Editor.
Usually, when people decide to break loose from Microsoft's ecosystem, they usually start with the office suite, going for open source alternatives like LibreOffice and ONLYOFFICE.
The latter of which got a major release back in 2024, further solidifying its position in the space. Months after have passed since, and a new ONLYOFFICE Docs release has arrived, marking its first release of 2025.
Let's get right into it. π
Starting off, this release of ONLYOFFICE Docs ships with a new βMerge Shapesβ feature across all the editors, allowing users to manipulate or combine shapes to create custom elements quickly.
Additionally, there is improved right-to-left language (RTL) support, with the ability to change the default sheet and paragraph direction in text documents, as well as support for the Albanian language.
For Spreadsheets, there are new AutoFill options for automatically filling out days and years, better handling of pivot tables, and the ability to add auto-updating external links for ensuring important data is always up-to-date.

The real-time collaboration aspect of Spreadsheets also gets some attention, with a new βundoβ action being made available during live edits.
Next up are the changes to Presentations, which now allow users to draw directly on the canvas in the slideshow or presenter modes using the pen and highlighter tools in the editor.

The developers have also added a new βDesignβ tab that will feel familiar to you if you have used other office suites. This page acts as a one-stop place for access to styles, color schemes, slide adjustments, and more.
Similarly, many new tools were added to the PDF editor that allow users to add stamps, adjust annotation opacity, select multiple pages, and a new quick panel that facilitates editing annotations.
